DM-02™ Daily Multivitamin helps meet the nutritional needs of the body and the gut microbiome, with 100% daily value of 20 essential vitamins and minerals required for overall health. Powered by Seed’s ViaCap® delivery system, DM-02™ helps fill modern nutrition gaps and fuels your microbes, promoting healthy aging and resilience.*

Gut-Nutrition Connection

We are not alone in our biology. We co-exist with trillions of microbes in the gut that are critical to most aspects of health.

Like us, these microbes rely on a steady supply of nutrients in order to support the body’s ability to absorb, metabolize, and utilize compounds that influence overall health.

Directions for Use

We recommend taking DM-02™ with food for optimal absorption of vitamins and minerals. Some nutrients are fat-soluble, meaning they’re better absorbed when paired with healthy fats.

DM-02™ is designed for continuous use with benefits augmenting over time.

Key Ingredients

DM-02™ delivers 100% daily value of 20 essential vitamins and minerals in bioavailable forms that your body can actually absorb and use.*

But unlike most multivitamins, DM-02™ goes further, combining these nutrients with targeted prebiotics and postbiotics to support your gut microbiome. This helps bridge the connection between foundational nutrition and whole-body health.*

Activated B vitamins, including vitamin B6, B9, and B12 in DM-02™, are bioactive forms of B vitamins that the body can use directly without requiring conversion through enzymatic processes, which can be impaired in some individuals due to genetic variations, such as MTHFR or ALPL polymorphisms.

For example, methylcobalamin (B12) and L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (folate) are the coenzyme forms naturally used in methylation and DNA synthesis, while pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (P-5-P) is the active form of B6 involved in neurotransmitter production and amino acid metabolism. Including these forms in a multivitamin helps ensure that the nutrients are readily usable by the body, supporting optimal metabolic function across a wide range of individuals.*

Our B-vitamin complex (including B1, B2, B3, B9, and B12) does more than support energy—it's selected for its ability to nourish key gut bacteria and promote beneficial microbial activity. For example, vitamin B1 helps increase butyrate-producing bacteria like Ruminococcaceae, which play a role in gut and metabolic health. These vitamins also support the production of short-chain fatty acids like butyrate, a critical metabolite for gut health*

Chelation is a process designed to support optimal absorption in the digestive tract—chelated minerals have been bound to amino acids or other organic compounds to form a more stable complex. DM-02™ delivers zinc, copper, manganese, molybdenum, and chromium in chelated forms.

Research suggests that certain chelated forms—such as glycinate or bisglycinate chelates—may be more bioavailable than some traditional mineral salts (like oxides or sulfates), particularly under conditions where absorption may be impaired. Chelated minerals are also less likely to interact with other compounds in the gut that can inhibit absorption, such as phytates or competing minerals. This can be particularly important in multinutrient formulas, where multiple minerals are consumed at once.*

Wasabi (standardized to 2% isothiocyanates) is derived from Wasabia japonica, a plant traditionally consumed in Japan for over a millennium. The pungent compounds responsible for wasabi's characteristic heat are isothiocyanates—bioactive sulfur-containing molecules also found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and mustard. Preclinical research has demonstrated that specific wasabi-derived isothiocyanates, including 6-methylsulfinylhexyl isothiocyanate (6-MSITC), possess broad-spectrum properties, capable of favoring the growth of beneficial microbes over unwanted microbial populations.

These effects are believed to be mediated through modulation of bacterial quorum sensing and disruption of microbial cell membranes. In vitro and animal studies also suggest potential inflammatory-balancing, antioxidant, and detoxification-supporting properties, attributed to activation of phase II enzymes via the Nrf2 pathway, a key cellular defense mechanism.*

‡Maximum daily doses are clinically-derived from oral food challenge studies and reflect the most recent advancements in food allergy research.  The reference dose, also termed ED01, is the dose at which 1% of the allergic population would be predicted to experience any objective allergic reaction (i.e., 99% of the allergic population does not experience any objectively measurable reaction).

Most supplements, fruits, vegetables, milk-derived proteins, and natural products carry some level of heavy metals. These can be very difficult to completely eliminate from the diet, due to their uptake from the surrounding air, water, and soil. In California, food and natural products are regulated under Proposition 65 (the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986), which sets ‘safe harbor levels’ for chemicals known to the state to potentially cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.

Seed abides by these stringent regulations and tests all products for the four main categories of heavy metals: Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead, and Mercury.

DM-02™ is tested for over 500 pesticide residues using gas chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry at third-party accredited laboratories. PM-02™ is intentionally subjected to testing for the ubiquitous pesticide, glyphosate, as well as its breakdown product—AminoMethylPhosphonic Acid (AMPA)—using liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry. This rigorous testing protocol ensures adherence to our strict quality standards.

The full list of pesticides tested may be viewed here.

Interactions

Can I take DM-02™ with other supplements?

DM-02™ is safe to take with other supplements and there are no known contraindications with medications. We recommend consulting your physician about your current prescription medications, so they can advise you with full knowledge of your health history.

Can I take DM-02™ with DS-01®?

While you can take DM-02™ alongside other probiotics, for best results, we recommend pairing it with DS-01®. DM-02™ is formulated to deliver the essential nutrients your body and your gut microbiome need every day. By pairing it with DS-01®, you’re not just adding beneficial bacteria—you’re also feeding them with the prebiotics and microbiome-specific cofactors inside DM-02™. Together, they create a more complete daily routine for gut, immune, and whole-body health.

Can I take DM-02™ with another multivitamin or nutrient supplement?

We don’t recommend taking DM-02™ alongside other multivitamins. DM-02™ is designed to deliver 100% daily value of 20 essential vitamins and minerals in research-informed doses. Taking an additional multivitamin could lead to getting more of certain nutrients than your body actually needs. To avoid unnecessary overlap and to optimize benefits, DM-02™ is best taken on its own as your daily multivitamin.
