Tessa Mu
For Tessa, the invisible world led to curiosity, curiosity to learning, and learning to a 2,800 mile transcontinental shift, just a few months shy of a decade in New York.
Tessa has always been drawn to companies in their infancy and is passionate about shaping and scaling how they emerge into the world. After launching and growing Marc Jacobs’ global digital presence (as one of the first luxury brands to adopt the internet) to an audience of 6.5+ million, she joined venture and LVMH-backed mobile shopping startup, Spring, where she led marketing and creative campaigns through its formative years with brands like Calvin Klein, Opening Ceremony, and Beyonce.
With 10 years of experience in social, email, content, and brand strategy across health, tech, fashion, and ecommerce, Tessa loves nothing more than the magic that happens when all channels sing, especially when it comes to translating the story of our invisible world.
When not building Seed, you’ll find Tessa shopping for ceramics, collecting rocks, and cooking her way through Northern Thai and Chinese cuisine. She lives in Venice Beach with her partner Joel and their plump and enthusiastic french bulldog, Hippo.
