Dr. Marco Pane, PhD is a microbiologist with deep expertise in microbial fermentation, manufacturing, and analytical technologies. He has a 10+ year history specialized in the biofermentation of facultative and strict anaerobes. Dr. Pane is uniquely experienced in translating pilot trials into viable production cycles focused on strain screening, genetic analysis, process development and optimization for culture media / growth conditions, cell banking, large scale biofermentation, stabilization, GMP Scale-up, lyophilization, and physico-chemical analysis.

Dr. Pane is member of the Pharmabiotic Research Institute (PRI) and Expert Panel on Probiotic at the US Pharmacopoeia. He is currently based in Italy.
