What you’ll do
- Oversee all accounting operations: monthly close processes and reconciliations, inventory control and management, AP, AR, cash management, payroll recording and tax processing
- Develop and implement process improvements that create efficiency in the monthly close processes, which is currently 5 days
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and deliver timely / accurate financial reporting
- Serve as the financial leader for ERP enhancements, partnering with your Operations counterparts to deliver greater supply chain automation
- Publish detailed monthly financial reports, including product and channel level income statements, and key financial metrics to leadership and lead investors
- Streamline AP processes to ensure vendor communication and expectations
- Manage cash management activities and reconciliation to provide leadership greater visibility into cash flow
- Recruit, manage and mentor growing Accounting team as company transitions from external accounting support to inhouse team
- Coordinate tax planning strategies, and oversee sales and income tax filings
- Review internal controls and implement process improvements to insulate risk and protect company assets
- Manage the annual audit with external auditors
Your Background
- CPA with 10+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting expertise
- Experience with a mix of Big 4 or large accounting firm is preferred
- Consumer products experience with a complex supply chain and inventory management
- High growth DTC subscription and omni-channel distribution
- Analytical problem solver with who enjoys the ‘build stage’ as the company scales
- Process-oriented and always looking to find solutions to help automate, streamline and reduce risk of manual error

The annual pay range for this full-time position is $220k-$240k + equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US). Our pay ranges are guided by discipline, level and experience required. We are looking for a Manager of Lifecycle Marketing to join the Lifecycle Marketing Team to support our Lifecycle Marketing acquisition efforts across DTC and retail. This role will span multiple marketing channels to build a holistic physical and digital experience with a focus on email and SMS.

What You’ve Done
- 3+ years of experience building lead-generation and acquisition programs in lifecycle marketing channels—email marketing, lead-generation, and SMS. (Web push is a plus.)
- Experience executing a growth strategy and optimizing performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience with a subscription-based company, leveraging lifecycle marketing to nurture, upsell, and cross-sell to prospective customers.
- 2+ years of experience driving acquisition lifecycle marketing in a direct-to-consumer role.
- Experience with Iterable preferred.
- Experience leveraging data to devise thoughtful tests and form a thoughtful strategy.

What You’ll Do
- Support email and SMS acquisition efforts on seed.com and retail.
- Optimize and scale our cross-sell initiatives in close collaboration with the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing, Acquisition.
- Work with a cross-functional team to strategize and execute lifecycle marketing initiatives for new products and sales channels.
- Use emerging insights to recommend and execute new initiatives and programs.
- Monitor and report on core KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor performance data and trends to inform the team.
- Work to support key business goals (margin, revenue, average order value, etc) through strategic choices made for our email programs.
- Collaborate with Brand, Product, CX, Engineering, and more to optimize processes and bring efficiencies to our Lifecycle Marketing Team.

This role will oversee the optimization of current acquisition efforts across key performance marketing channels to scale existing programs, improve efficiency and help Seed achieve its target KPIs. You will collaborate closely across the org with Creative, Design, Integrated Marketing, Growth Product and Data to bring these acquisition efforts to fruition.
Who You Are
- 7+ years of Growth Marketing with experience in the health tech and/or CPG space, as well as successful, rapid-growth DTC businesses that are both brand and performance-focused and must comply with regulatory requirements
- You have proven track record of being able to develop and oversee a highly efficient, large scale ($30M+) Acquisition program that optimizes for LTV, ROI, or ROAS
- You have exceptional analytical skills that unlock performance-driving insights across channel, creative, and attribution disciplines
- You are a strategic thinking who is also willing to dive into the weeds and be a scrappy problem solver
- You are a highly effective communicator and collaborator, especially with Brand, and Integrated Marketing teams
- Intuitive knowledge of the performance media landscape and how Seed's brand can best fit within it
- Deep bias towards analytics and measurement, and extensive experience with having your work measured against or towards revenue-related goals
- Comfort in serving as an externally facing representative of Seed and working closely with agency partners to advocate fiercely for Seed's interests
- Comfort and ease working with finance teams to align on budgets, financial targets and the measurement of key financial performance metrics (i.e., CAC and LTV)
- Ability to communicate complex information in an easily understood and thoughtful manner to cross-functional and external partners
- No task too big or too small mindset - willing to roll up sleeves when needed to write ad copy, or to conduct performance analysis
What You’ll Do
- Performance Marketing Strategy: Execute a performance marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives to drive growth for Seed’s flagship product, DS-01
- Paid Advertising: Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various channels (e.g., Paid Search, Affiliates, Direct Mail, etc) to drive efficient customer acquisition and revenue growth optimized to LTV/CAC ratio
- Budget Management: Oversee the allocation of the performance marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI while meeting growth targets.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed marketing decisions, track and report on key performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve performance goals.
- Testing and Experimentation: Implement A/B testing and experimentation across ad formats, audience targeting, landing pages to refine marketing strategies. Analyze test results to identify winning strategies and apply insights to improve overall channel performance.
- Measurement: Support broader marketing analytics and attribution projects that help understand the impact of channels through incrementally testing, marginal ROI analysis and collaborating with data team on advanced attribution modeling.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
- Agency Management: serve at POC and Seed SME on execution of performance marketing channel strategy for DS-01
- Technical Skills: proficiency with web analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics), familiarity with Meta and Google’s new(er) ad products (PMax, Discovery, Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns), A/B testing (in platform tooling and Optimizely), advanced attribution modeling.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design of end-to-end lifecycle experiences—from pre-purchase discovery to post-purchase subscription management and loyalty engagement—using first principles and behavioral insights to reduce friction, drive conversion, and increase long-term value.
- Prototype rapidly using tools like Figma, Bolt, Jitter, and Cursor; explore interaction and motion to elevate clarity, craft, and engagement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Engineering, Brand, and Customer Care to design cohesive and scalable experiences across the lifecycle.
- Contribute to and evolve our design system—ensuring accessibility, usability, consistency, and brand maturity across every touchpoint.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture—leveraging A/B testing, user feedback, and product analytics to iterate and optimize.
- Help define a high-craft, collaborative design culture through mentorship, open critique, and principled design thinking.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, including at least 2 years in a lead or principal role.
- A portfolio showcasing high-impact digital work—especially across e-commerce, subscription, and lifecycle flows.
- Mastery of interaction and visual design, with fluency in Figma, motion tools, and code-aware prototyping platforms.
- Strong grasp of product performance metrics (CVR, LTV, retention, etc.) and the role of design in optimizing them.
- Deep understanding of modern design systems and their evolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to align stakeholders, influence strategy, and inspire action.
- A passion for science, wellness, and building experiences that inform, empower, and retain users long-term.
Compensation:
The annual pay range for this full-time position is $160-180k + equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US).
